Lights and shadows
A shadowy figure swimming under water. A ray reflected on a surface of a swimming-pool. Sun-soaked naked body and aquatic environments that are both familiar and mysterious.
Watercolours reflecting the theme of water and fine abstractions departing from the reality: that is the spectacle Eric Itschert invites us to discover.
It is an invitation to pierce the “veil of Maya” of appearances; it is a voyage to discover the Light enveloping our world.
The visitor will have also the pleasure to discover Marie Louise Sorbac’s sculptures.

2) “Aïnigma beta”, two details
To reproduce the colours of this painting is always quite difficult. You have to imagine these colours in a range between the ones you see here and the ones of the whole painting picture. This detail was published in “Artistes & Galeries” 1998, page 126, to represent the Gallery Reinold Ketelbuters.
